Directly from his studio, a large selection of works spanning three decades of Frank Stella’s prolific career will be on view. The exhibition features numerous wall and table pieces including Bali, Scarlatti Kirkpatrick, Stars, Atlantic Salmon Rivers, and Marshmallows, which are representative of several of the artist’s iconic series. In addition, Beyond the Reef from 2023, a large-scale, painted work will be suspended from a steel armature in a dedicated gallery space.

In 2021,Yares Art presented, As it Was, As it Is, a two-person exhibition featuring the early and late paintings as well as sculptures by Stella in tandem with a selection of works by Larry Poons spanning the years 1960–2020. Highlighted in the exhibition catalogue, Stella’s Jasper’s Split Star—a monumental work from 2017—was permanently installed in Survivor’s Park in front of World Trade Center Tower Seven, shortly after the 20th commemorative anniversary of 9/11.
